Linda Lomahaftewa grew up with her Hopi and Choctaw heritage in the Southwest region of the United States. She received her artistic training from the San Francisco Art Institute where she focused on painting, but has since moved into symbolic printmaking with sacred Native American meaning. Lomahaftewa discusses her many happy years as an artist sharing her culture and as a teacher mentoring her students at the Institute of Indian American Art.Interviewer
